Wealth Creation Study is an annual study conducted by the company to identify the fastest, biggest and most consistent wealth creators. It analyzes top 100 companies based on their performance and profits. The companies are assessed on four parameters – focus on core business, financial performance, quality of management, and speed of wealth creation – over a period of five years.
It means the amount of profit or equity that a company generates over and above the capital invested by the company and its shareholders. It also helps investors, shareholders and companies come up with new and innovative business strategies to make better profits and improve their business.
The company has been conducting this study every year since 1991 and the next Wealth Creation Studies and Awards is scheduled to be held this year on 17th December. Only those companies which have made an annual growth of at least 25% are taken into account. Then these companies compete against each other to show who has got the fastest, biggest and most consistent growth. How the company has performed in the past 5 years is taken into consideration and a winner for each of the three categories is announced.
